Hope Flows Where Water Goes: Water Drive with V1, CBC, + Convoy of Hope

As the Central Valley heats up into triple digits, staying hydrated becomes a matter of survival—especially for our neighbors experiencing homelessness. For those living unsheltered, access to something as simple as cold, clean water can be life-saving.

That’s why we are so deeply grateful to V1 Serve, Catalyst Bible College, and Convoy of Hope for coming together on our behalf to host a powerful water drive through Visalia First Assembly Church.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Visalia First congregation, 33 cases of bottled water were donated. But they didn’t stop there. Partnering with Convoy of Hope, they delivered 12 full pallets of bottled water and 4 pallets of sports drinks—a blessing beyond words.

This donation isn’t just a physical need met—it’s a message: You are not forgotten. You matter. In a season when the sun is relentless, this act of kindness is a wave of hope washing over those who often go unseen.

This is the second year Visalia First has stepped up in this way, and their consistency in care speaks volumes. When churches, colleges, and organizations join together in love and action, we see the true strength of our community. We see what it looks like to take care of one another.

To every person who carried a case, gave a dollar, said a prayer, or helped make this happen—thank you. Your generosity is keeping people safe, hydrated, and reminded that they are deeply loved.

Let’s keep showing up for one another. Hope tastes like cold water on a hot day.
