2025 Annual Report

A lasting seat at the table.

Belonging, dignity, and the work of radical hospitality.

Who we are + where we’re going

People heal in belonging.

Salt + Light transforms the lives of Central California neighbors at risk of or experiencing homelessness by fostering community and belonging.

The annual report’s strongest design language is immersive, editorial, and deeply human: full-bleed photography, soft blue-green overlays, serif type, hand-drawn village motifs, quiet grids, and the recurring image of a seat at the table. This page turns those pieces into a guided scroll.

The Village said “I do.”

Two beloved neighbors were married at The Neighborhood Village — a tender reflection of the love, commitment, and belonging growing within the community.

Earned dignity, growing community.

Through Village Bucks, neighbors participate, contribute, and choose what they need. One neighbor even saved his bucks to purchase an electric scooter for another neighbor.

Meet Jeneiro.

“This is the first home I’ve ever had.” His story anchors the report with the lived reality of belonging becoming home.

Care without barriers.

On-site medical care brings checkups, treatment, and guidance directly into the community, removing barriers and supporting holistic healing.
