Chili with a Side of Care: Our 1st Annual Chili Cook-Off

We just hosted our 1st Annual Chili Cook-Off—and it was a hit! Neighbors had the chance to taste and vote for their favorite chili, lovingly prepared by a mix of our staff, volunteers, and neighbors themselves.

 

Alongside the delicious fun, we were proud to offer on-site health screenings and testing, thanks to our incredible community partners: San Joaquin Valley College (SJVC), Family HealthCare Network (FHCN), Altura Centers for Health, and The Source LGBT+ Center.

 

It was a joyful day of connection, care, and community—bringing vital services directly to our neighbors while sharing a warm bowl (or five) of chili.
