Nikki McCurry

Program Coordinator

Nikki serves as Program Coordinator with a focus on substance abuse, helping neighbors access the resources they need both within Salt + Light and across the community. She is especially passionate about raising awareness around the opioid epidemic and supporting those affected by it. “Being part of Salt + Light feels like a dream come true,” Nikki says. “Every day I get to engage with our neighbors, share in their stories, and offer a little hope and kindness. The staff here have welcomed me like family, and I truly believe that everyone deserves love—if I can bring even a small bit of that into someone’s life, I feel I’ve done my part.”

Nikki holds a BASW and is currently pursuing her MSW. Her lifelong passion for helping others is deeply personal; having seen the impact of addiction in her own family, she feels a strong connection to this work. Her career allows her to combine her personal experiences with her values, making a real difference in the lives of those she serves.

When she’s not at work or school, Nikki enjoys running with the foothills as her backdrop, meditating in her backyard, spending relaxing days at the beach, and soaking up the energy of live music.
