Cory, Salt + Light’s Community Supports Manager, brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication from his roots in Porterville, CA. With over 15 years of experience at the County of Tulare's Health & Human Services Agency, Cory has held pivotal roles such as Social Worker, Deputy Public Guardian, Administrative Specialist, Public Health Manager, and Division Manager of Self-Sufficiency. His service also extended into the role of Public Information Officer during natural disasters and the COVID-19 pandemic. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, a testament to his commitment to understanding and improving the lives of others.
At home, Cory enjoys spending quality time with his husband, Frank, and their three cherished fur babies (their dogs), finding joy and companionship in family life.
As the Community Supports Manager at Salt + Light, Cory plays an integral role in the organization, ensuring that the vision and mission of helping others align with his personal values. He works closely with the team to ensure our neighbors have access to the supports and resources they need to thrive. Cory is driven by a deep desire to make an impact, and his collaborative spirit shines through in every interaction.
