Cara Brokaw | Administrative Manager
Cara Brokaw, Salt + Light’s Administrative Manager, is originally from Pennsylvania. She then spent 10 years with her husband Jordan in Seattle prior to landing in Visalia and calling it home. Previous to Salt + Light, Cara was the Office Manager of a local church in Tulare. She attributes her administrative knack to her obsessive organization skills and boundless love of meticulous, mundane, and monotonous tasks.
“I love Visalia, but I see so much brokenness here. I find it so important that Salt + Light is doing the difficult work of being a catalyst for real, meaningful change in our community. This organization not only offers unreserved love and dignity to our neighbors experiencing homelessness, but it also provides practical ways to lift them out of their current situation. I am grateful to use my unique skills to help Salt + Light make a real difference in our city,” Cara says.
Fun fact: Cara was in a professional ballet company and toured all over the United States!
